I am Gregory Spessot, New York native - and current SCAD Themed Entertainment Design MFA student. I graduated from SCAD in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Production Design, and I am currently based out of Savannah, GA . With both academic and professional work experience spanning from New York to San Francisco, down to Savannah, and Florida, and through a variety of fields including Film, Theater, Luxury and Themed Events - my work history has me uniquely prepared for the challenges and the various jobs throughout the field of Entertainment Arts.

Looking towards the future - I'll continue to pursue my passion and love following a career in Production Design with an emphasis in Art Direction, Scenic Design and Set Decoration for Film, Television and Themed Entertainment.

Treating the story-world, environment and scenic elements as characters are all key factors in creating an immersive, enthralling  and unforgettable experiences for both visitors and viewers alike.

Scenic and Prop Fabrication

Marrying traditional construction methods and techniques with more modern and technologically advanced techniques - such as 3D printing and Laser cutting, my previous work experiences in both scenic and prop fabrication have incorporated elements of both the old and the new.

From a Spaceship window designed to be entirely Laser Cut, to designing and creating costume and prop elements digitally for 3D printing, my work and designs will continue to incorporate modern technology as much as possible - while keeping close with the tried-and-true traditional techniques.
